Hello! Thanks for stopping by. Maybe you heard about Humblebee from a colleague, or stumbled upon one of our projects and thought, ”this looks like a place where data drives real impact.” However you found us, we’re glad you did. Humblebee is a digital service studio based in Sweden, and we’re looking for a Data Engineer / Data Scientist to join our product teams, where business, design, and tech work side by side to build what’s needed.

What you’ll be doing

As a Data Engineer / Data Scientist at Humblebee, you’ll turn data into actionable insights and AI-powered solutions that make a real impact. You’ll help translate business challenges into technical solutions, applying analytics and machine learning to create real outcomes.

Here’s what that could look like in practice:

• Exploring datasets to uncover patterns, validate hypotheses, and identify opportunities.

• Designing and running experiments, proofs of concept, and prototypes to test ideas.

• Building, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models both locally and in the cloud.

• Integrating and fine-tuning existing generative models to power features like smart recommendations, search, personalized content generation or conversational interfaces.

• Aggregating, processing, and visualizing data to communicate insights that drive decisions.

• Work closely with other engineers, designers, and business-oriented teammates to create data-driven digital products.

• Advising clients on how to leverage data-driven solutions to improve existing products or create new ones.

• Guiding solutions from prototype to production, ensuring reliability, scalability, and adherence to MLOps best practices.

• Clearly communicating results, assumptions, and limitations to technical and non-technical audiences alike.

Is this you?

You love solving real-world problems with data and AI, balancing analytical rigor with practical implementation. You are comfortable moving between experimentation and production, and explaining complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.

You likely have:

• A degree in some of the areas: Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience building and/or integrating machine learning models

• Proficiency in Python and LangChain as well as modern cloud and data platforms (such as Azure, AWS, Databricks and Microsoft Fabric).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, versioning, and model monitoring.

• Expertise in feature engineering, model evaluation, data visualization, data cleaning and processing.

• Awareness of responsible AI, governance, and security principles.

• Curiosity, empathy, and a collaborative mindset.

You are as important as your skills

At Humblebee, we hire people, not just roles. We care about collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learning as much as technical expertise. We believe the best work happens when diverse disciplines come together, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys contributing ideas, listening to others, and growing with the team.

Before you apply

To help us find the right fit, we prioritize candidates who demonstrate:

• Data & ML Expertise. Solid understanding of statistics theory, machine learning, and practical experience with different stages of the model lifecycle.

• Business Insight. Ability to translate complex business problems into data- and AI-driven solutions.

• Collaboration & Communication. Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams and explaining results to varied audiences.

• Scalability Mindset. Experience taking models and data products from prototype to production.

• Ethics & Governance. Understanding of data governance, monitoring, and responsible AI practices.

Candidates who can share examples of projects with measurable impact, focusing on real outcomes rather than just models will be prioritized.
